Hey guys, the journey has started! On January 15th all of our squad flew/drove to Gainesville Georgia for two weeks of training camp. God has already started growing us in our relationship with Him and each other. These two weeks have consisted of everything from worship and teaching to team building and practical skills.

Here are a few highlights from the last two weeks..

-Our squad is amazing! I feel extremely blessed to serve alongside these incredible people. The second day we got here Dion, one of our speakers, told us that the days are long but the weeks are short. After spending my first of many nights on the floor next to 14 other girls (and lots of snoring) I genuinely thought he was lying. Now at the end of these two weeks I know he was spot on. It has honestly been a blast getting to know and grow with all the unique & amazing people on our squad.

The need for unity!
Upon arriving I met my squad… eighteen people between the ages of 18-30 all from varying states, denominations, and backgrounds. God has been showing me that he is so far above all the variations between us. We can look past all the little differences we have and love each other and work hand in hand to further the kingdom.“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”John 13:35

-A few of my favorite quotes from this week…

“Truth is not something you believe, it’s a person, His name is Jesus.”

“The gospel & our salvation is free BUT your walk with Christ will cost you everything. If you sugar coat the gospel you get cupcakes not the salt of the earth.”

“Our testimonies are not about how crazy our circumstances are but how amazing our God is.”

Tomorrow, January 30th we will be starting our travels to Eswatini. Please be praying for our team to stay safe and healthy.

Thanks for reading, love and miss you all!
